Marriage of Figaro: Overture | Trumpet Sextet
This arrangement of the famous Overture to 'Marriage of Figaro' takes from the original manuscript and translates it for the Trumpet Ensemble. All of the original counterpoint and gestures are featured. However, alterations have been made to perform this challenging work effectively for brass. This is an excellent addition to the beginning of a concert featuring the Trumpet Ensemble.
This copy features two versions of the composition. These are in Bb Major and D Major. Bb Major is the recommended version as it is adopted particularly for Trumpet Ensemble. However, the D Version features the Original Key, and is include for groups that want an extra challenge.
