Brandon Dicks performs ‘…another tango’ at the International Trumpet Guild 2022 Conference, for the ITG New Works Recital
Brandon Dicks will be performing Dalian Bryan’s ‘…another tango’ for Trumpet and Piano at the International Trumpet Guild 2022 Conference. ‘…another tango’ was selected as a winner of the 2022 ITG New Works Call for Scores and Brandon’s recording selected him as the performer for the event.

Click Symphony Performs ‘Radiant Ascent’ for Brass Ensemble, new work commissioned by the Group
Click Symphony will be performing ‘Radiant Ascent’ for Solo Instrument and Brass Ensemble during the Summer 2022 Concert Season. The group commissioned the work as the ending closer of their program and will be played throughout their Summer Concert Series. The work is dedicated to Zachary Friedland, a long-time friend of Brandon Dicks and another wonderful composer who passed away in 2021.

Northeastern Middle School Bands Excels With Brandon Dicks’s New Concert Band Work
Sharon Vocke and the Northeastern Middle School Band gave the world premiere of 'Inferno’ for Concert Band May 11, 2022. Not only that, Inferno was present at the Bristol’s City Wide’s Art Festival, Lake Compounds and at the Fantastic Festivals where the group was presented with the Platinum Medal.

The Trumpeter’s Multi-Track Competition and Diversify the Stand are launching a new Call for Scores for trumpet ensemble works to help build awareness around works that may have not had as much exposure since the pandemic began. Brandon will be recording three new compositions as full multi-tracked videos for this collaboration.

Brandon’s compositions have been virtually performed at the 2021 International Trumpet Guild Virtual Conference. Buddy Deshler, current trumpeter of the Dallas Brass, performed ‘Coming Home’ for Trumpet and Piano with pianist, Gail Novak, as part of the ITG 2021 New Works Recital. Young Band Consortium Collaboration Announced
Composers Katherine Bergman, Brandon Dicks, Zachary Friedland, Benjamin Horne, Onsby Rose, and Jennifer E. Rose are teaming up to create a cool collection of SIX NEW WORKS for YOUNG BAND! The works are to be premiered by six different ensembles from across the country, personally contacted
by the composers. Exclusivity for each work will run for 1 year after the premier date and each director and ensemble will have her/his name printed in the score of all six pieces. Premieres will take place during the Spring of 2022.

The Trumpeter’s Multi-Track Competition (TMTC) is a new competition and accompanying seminar designed to not only facilitate excellence in terms of producing and designing multi-track recordings, but to also teach and promote creators who want to pioneer the art. RIRE Fanfares Announcement
Rhode Island Recording Ensemble is happy to announce our new Recording Project, RIRE Fanfares. These will be videos premiering multi-trumpet compositions created by our past Rhode Island Recording Ensemble composers. They will be performed, recorded, and edited by our RIRE Trumpeter Brandon Dicks, who is a current youtuber who specializes in Multi-track Trumpet Videos.
