Tales of a Resting Garden
for orchestra
dur. ca. 7min 45sec
When walking through a resting garden, our minds drift to the darkness of death. In it's shadows, however, we feel the comfort from our memories of past friends and loved ones. Our memories gives us hope and purpose for a new day. However, walking further and further through the garden, we see more and more tales of our fallen man. The further we walk the more our garden pulls away from our memories. The truth of our demise comes clear in the fog of our denial and our hope gets tangled with our struggle. Emotions take over and change our perspectives. We continue to march through the now foggy garden trying to find answers and more memories. The farther we go the more unstable our world seems. It is not until we reach the point of true emotion torture we see the clear truth and may continue to create our own tale.
